Have you ever wanted to tackle solar imaging but need help figuring out where to start?
With both an annular solar eclipse (October 14, 2023) and a total solar eclipse (April 8, 2024) on the horizon, now is the perfect time to get expert guidance that can help you capture stunning images of the Sun!
Explore Scientific is excited to be pairing with world-renowned astrophotographer Gary Palmer to offer a 90-minute workshop that will help you get the best out of your solar rig! The class, which will be hosted via Zoom, is currently scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM CDT on September 15, and will be limited to 20 people to allow ample time for discussion with like-minded peers.
During this workshop, Gary will tackle a range of solar imaging topics, including the best equipment, processing, how to filter solar data into different wavelengths of light and understanding what angstrom numbers mean.
