Born in Milan, Italy, Dr. Fiorella Terenzi is an Astrophysicist, Professor, Author and Musician and has spent a lifetime listening to the harmonics of stars and galaxies, starting with a stargazing experience with her grandmother in Milan when she was only 5 years old. Having achieved a doctorate in astrophophysics, she studied opera and composition at Conservatory G. Verdi, Corsi Popolari Serali. She embarked on a mission to fuse the heartbeat of the cosmos into music through techniques she pioneered to convert radio waves emanating from distant galaxies into sound fused in music to teach others that we are intertwined and interdependent upon the cosmos.
Fiorella's music was released by Island Records on her acclaimed CD "Music from the Galaxies". Her award-winning CD-ROM "Invisible Universe " (Voyager Company) and her best-selling books "Heavenly Knowledge", Musica Dalle Stelle", & Der Kosmos ist weiblich " (Harper&Collins) weave astronomy and music, science and art into a tapestry for the senses.
Among her many recordings, Fiorella has also recorded electronic fusion pop with the critically acclaimed "Quantum Mechanic" with Thomas Dolby and "Star Light" with Timothy Leary.
